It’s down to one day.

One day to determine who will join Peru and AuSable Valley as representatives of Section VII volleyball.

Friday will see Class B and Class D teams face off at AuSable Valley.

At 5 p.m., the Class D championship will begin between #2 Northern Adirondack and #1 Lake Placid.

Following that contest, #2 Beekmantown will face #1 Plattsburgh to determine Class B. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

Peru, representing Class A, will move on to the Regional Semifinals to be played at AuSable Valley, Nov 13.

AVCS moves to the Regional Finals, which are set for Nov 16 at Saranac.

PLATTSBURGH — Sadie Walker continued her strong campaign with a double-double of 34 assists and 15 digs as the Hornets advanced with a 3-1 final over the Spartans.

She was one point off of a triple-double.

While the Hornets won the first set 25-19, the Spartans came back to tie at 1 with a 20-25 second set win. Plattsburgh pulled away in the final two sets 25-7 and 25-13.

Natalie Battinelli remained a force at the next with a game high 14 kills and seven points.

Natalyia Canada had 16 digs, Hayden Parent added 12 points with Cali Reynolds contributing 15 points.

Saranac was led by Calleigh Breyette and Sadie Baughn with 15 and 13 digs, respectively.

BEEKMANTOWN — The Eagles made sure the task was completed with a 3-0 sweep of the Red Storm.

Beekmantown won the three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-9 and 25-19.

The Eagles’ Payton Reynolds led the team with a double double of 16 points and 11 digs. She added six assists, two kills and an ace.

Teammate Julia Conroy was just off a double double with 11 points, seven kills and three aces and digs.

Sawyer Fleming added 10 points and seven digs while Peyton Hooker finished with 14 digs and five kills.

Emily Perry added 16 digs.
