Old Time Community Day set in Beloit

The Beloit Fire Association will present a Beloit Old Time Community Day from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. June 17. The event will start with breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. at Ruritan Park. The kickoff parade will begin at noon at the West Branch Intermediate School. Old fashioned games will be available from 1-4 p.m., a cornhole tournament from 4 to 6 p.m., a kick ball tournament from 4 to 6 p.m., and concert by Cold Shot from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by a community bonfire at the Ruritan park; food by Mydee Good Eatin’. Following the parade, there will be a cruise in for anything on wheels at Fifth and Main streets for a $5 registration fee.
